Why OBAM exists
OBAM is building the control layer for public B2B relationship references. We believe the referenced company should remain the authority over how its name, logo, and relationship status appear in public.
The market problem
Unmanaged “trusted by” references are easy to publish and difficult to govern. Logos and reference statements stay live long after relationship context changes, creating legal, brand, and diligence risk.
Why authorization matters
Public references should not rely on vendor self-certification alone. Authorization needs a dedicated workflow with accountable decision-makers and policy boundaries.
Why lifecycle governance matters
A one-time authorization is not enough. References need lifecycle controls: updates, expiry, revocation, and historical auditability over time.
The category OBAM is creating
OBAM is creating a new category around governed public relationship references: a verification layer where authorization status can be visible, current, and auditable.
Long-term vision
Our long-term vision is a market where major B2B references are represented through governed trust surfaces instead of static, unverified logo walls.
